Privacy policy

Yanyana helps you check in with the people you love every day. It is developed by Roof Stacks. This policy explains what we collect and why, how long we keep it, and your rights. Roof Stacks is the data controller under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, the name you give us and your language. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the email and identifier those services share.
- Check-ins: your check-in times, your "I'm OK" or "Not so good" answer and when you gave it, short notes you add, and the waves you send.
- Circles: the circles you belong to, the names you give members (like "Mom"), the alert order and alert history.
- Device: your phone's push notification token and platform (iOS/Android), so we can send notifications.
- Subscription: whether the Family plan is active and when it ends. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see card details.
What we don't collect: your location, contacts, microphone or motion data. The app never asks for these permissions. We use no advertising or tracking analytics.
How we use it
- To remind you at your check-in time.
- To let people in your circle know, in the order you chose, when you haven't checked in.
- To show circle members today's status and the weekly summary.
- To activate the Family plan and keep your account secure.
Your information is shared only with people in the same circle, and only for these purposes. We don't sell it.
Service providers
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivering notifications to your phone.
- RevenueCat, Apple App Store and Google Play: subscription purchase and validation.
These providers may store data outside your country. We share only what is needed for the service to work.
Retention
- Check-in, alert and wave history is kept for 1 year, then deleted automatically.
- Notification logs are kept for 90 days.
- If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data and object to its processing. You can delete your account yourself in the app under Account → Delete my account. For other requests, email [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
Children
Yanyana is not designed for children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and announce important changes in the app.
